After a taxi test she smoked the speed controller (4 fets popped)  - everything was hooked up proper and all equipment was sized in order (prop motor battery) for correct draw. Either the speedo was bad or it was to much for the 75 amp cc ice which hooking up the meter was more than enough. Not taking any chances - gonna pop in a 100amp cc speedo and an external cc pro switching bec. The cc bec because after seeing what happens on the ground i'd hate to lose the radio in the air if something similiar happens. 1/2 inch bigger on the wheels as well. |
